Pirates

Treasure chests got me thinking about pirates. They are ruthless, mean thieves, still we seem to
admire them, dress like them at parties, watch movies about them (more than once).

What exactly triggers this fascination with them? Is it because of their mysterious ways, their
adventures and treasure hunting? Or is it merely about them being different?

Why does something or someone different than ourselves always grab our attention and seem so
interesting?

Maybe it's just all about the outfits. How they look. Isn't that the one thing that always draw a lot of
attention?

And the whole movie thing? Maybe that's just about Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. I wonder...
